New in 2006

November 2006:  AMT installs its new, high sensitivity 11 megapixel camera based on Kodak's KAI11002 sensor on a JEOL 2010. 

August 2006:   Cooled, 4 megapixel XR41 camera available for both side and bottom mounts

July 2006:  The XR41Z, the world's first Zoom TEM camera is installed on a Philips CM12

 

prior milestones

August  2005:  AMT introduces 10.5 megapixel upgrade to the XR60. 

August  2004:  AMT demonstrates 10.5 megapixel upgrade to the XR100 camera at M&M 2004.  The  XR40, a lower cost, higher speed successor to the Advantage Plus is introduced.

January 2004:  500th Digital TEM camera installed.

March 2002:  The XR60 the largest FOV side mount camera with up to 6.8 megapixels and live response is installed on a Tecnai 12.

February 2002:  The XR100, the largest FOV, mount camera introduced with 6.8 megapixels and live response on an Hitachi H7500.

January 2000:  The side mounted 4 megapixel  Advantage Plus camera sets the standard for  combined high resolution and high speed TEM imaging on an FEI Tecnai 12.

November 1998:  AMT begins shipping the Advantage HR. The worlds most successful 1 megapixel TEM camera on an Hitachi H7500.

August 1995:  AMT
introduces the first bottom mounted 4 megapixel TEM camera with high resolution optics on a Philips CM100.

November 1992:  AMT installs the first commerial side mounted 1 megapixel TEM camera on a JEOL 1200.
