New!

XR41-M is a multi-discipline camera with 30% photographic or greater field-of-view imaging. This is a new configuration being pioneered by AMT. This camera is positioned near the normal film plane of the TEM and thus has a wide field of view. Still it remains film compatible for most TEMs. The mid-mount configuration has virtually no TEM distortion. This camera features AMT's high efficiency "B-Lens", which is unique large format, finite-conjugate optical coupler with a high-resolution and extremely flat focus with less than 0.1% distortion. The XR41-S is a classic wide angle camera. It has 100% photographic or greater field-of-view imaging from the "35 mm port" that is available on most TEMs. XR41-S is used extensively in clinical applications and research where large field-of-views are advantageous. This camera features AMT's high efficiency "B-Lens", which is unique large format, finite-conjugate optical coupler lens with a high-resolution and extremely flat focus. The XR41-C is one of AMT's "Biological Bottom Mount" cameras with ~75% photographic or greater field-of-view imaging. It is totally film compatible. The XR41-C features AMT's finite-conjugate "C-Lens", which combines an extremely large 60mm x 60mm viewing area with high-resolution performance. Its 30 micron square pixels at phosphor give the highest definition available for any CCD camera.

The XR41-2Vu is AMT's newest concept for digital TEM. 2Vu allows simultaneous viewing from both the computer monitor and the conventional phosphor screen.2Vu is also a wide angle system that acquires images at the design optimum location in the TEM. It is available with 30 micron pixels (C-lens). The 2Vu configuration shows a 60mm x 60mm region at the viewing screen position for ~100% photographic field imaging.

Advanced Microscopy Techniques (AMT) manufactures and distributes high resolution and low dose CCD digital camera systems for electron microscopy. AMT's CCD digital camera systems are used for life sciences and materials science applications.
AMT's product line, AMT16000, XR111, XR611, XR41 and Advantage HS have 1 megapixcel to 16 megapixcel resolution and feature AMT's original high-resolution, finite-conjugate lenses with an extremely flat focus.
AMT's new 2Vu™ system hired its patented (pending) technology and it allows for simultaneous direct viewing and electronic capture of images in a transmission electron microscope.
AMT cameras are sold directly to customers, through domestic and international representatives, and through TEM vendors. Established in 1991, AMT's installed base is nearly 900 units.
