This image is that of a Twort bacteriophage take with the XR80S-B, 8 megapixel, Side-Mount camera system at 180,000x magnification. Clearly seen in this uranyl acetate stained sample are two phage with prominent head and elongated sheath/body with flexuous tail.
Using the AMT 'B' lens combines extraordinary speed and high sensitivity and resolution.
